As Chief Executive of ADC, I strive for the integrity and reputation of ADC as a high-quality service to children and young people with disabilities and mental health needs. I reinforce the ADC policies and procedures by ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct and Practice Standards of the NDIS and AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) as well as government legislation. I provide direct services and support a cohesive team where we provide a consistent service to the community. I maximise my leadership to strengthen teams by creating inclusive systems and restorative practices for an empowered workforce. I reflect on feedback and respond to setbacks as opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery. I utilise my specialised knowledge and skills in the early childhood, primary and secondary education sectors for over 30 years in the South Australian education system.

As Director of ADC, I am driven in providing culturally appropriate holistic services for children and young people and their families through positive relationships by listening and understanding so that we can effective implement individualised NDIS Plans through strong teams. This can create optimum care and peace of mind for children young people and their families so that they can flourish and grow. I will utilise my leadership in promoting to families and other providers in areas of Keeping Them Safe: Child Protection Curriculum and Berry Street Model - Trauma-Informed Practice, to raise confidence in providing the best outcomes for children and young people and their families.
