ADC acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their families, and communities as the First Australians, whose lands, winds, and waters we all now share, and pay respect to their unique values, and their continuing and enduring cultures that deepen and enrich the lives of our nation and communities. ADC is responsible for ensuring that its practice is culturally responsive, safe, and sensitive. This is done through developing meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people founded on mutual respect. We work together in solidarity with them. (Reference AASW 2020)

As a Registered NDIS Provider as well as an Accredited Medicare Provider, ADC provides services to NDIS participants and Medicare clients.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE AT THE CENTRE OF ALL OUR SERVICES

As NDIS registered providers, ADC provides services for children and young people with disabilities and their families from Early Childhood through to 17 years.

We implement a system that ensures that each child and young person receives timely and responsive services, tailored to suit each of their needs, and help to reduce any risk and complexity of their situation.

ADC upholds ethical responsibilities to children and young people and their families and support systems both informal and formal as well as the agency. We communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and meticulously manage information following ethical principles such as informed consent, confidentiality and accountability according to the NDIS Code of Conduct.

As change agents, we live our values every day to help us make decisions that suit the individual needs of every child and young person with a disability and deliver on the purpose of the NDIS.

We empower and invest in our staff and are proud of our workplace and the work we do.
